Belinda Medellin has been part of Siemens Digital Industries Software for three years, serving as the Global Academic Digital Initiatives Project Manager for the Future Workforce Strategy team. 

In this role, she spearheads the expansion of a digital badging program and manages various credentialing enablement initiatives, most notably the Expedite -Skills for Industrymicrocredential.

With a rich background in educational technology, Belinda brings valuable experience from her 14-year career as a secondaryteacher in Texas and her involvement in the K-12 EdTech sector. 

Her pioneering work in creating the world's first User Experience high school courses led to her recognition as the 2020 Texas Secondary Teacher of the Year for Region 20.

Driven by her passion for merging technology and education, Belinda now leverages her expertise at Siemens to foster skills essential for thriving in the digital economy, bridging the gap between academic foundations and industry demands.
