ibrahim headshotDania Ibrahim is a Ph.D. candidate in experimental psychology at the University of California, San Diego, where she is completing her dissertation on generative learning in classroom settings. 

Her research explores how activities such as peer discussion and self-explanation promote student understanding and knowledge transfer. She previously served as the innovation manager at the Education Systems Center at Northern Illinois University, where she collaborated with policy leaders, educators, and students to advance statewide initiatives in work-based learning and competency-based education. 

Dania is passionate about connecting rigorous research with innovative education strategies to strengthen the pipeline from school to workforce.
