Emerson Earthman holds a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management from the University of Colorado Boulder and an undergraduate degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. 

She currently serves as the Online Course Operations Specialist for CU Boulder’s Master of Science in Data Science online degree program offered through Coursera. In this role, Emerson supports course quality, supervises course facilitators, and enhances student learning experiences for a global online community. 

Prior to joining the MS-DS team, she worked with the Aerospace Department at CU Boulder as a Curriculum Assistant, where she gained experience supporting faculty and academic programs. With over two years of experience in online higher education operations, Emerson is dedicated to creating accessible, high-quality learning opportunities that bridge technology and education.
