Kaitlyn Rye has worked at the University of Colorado Boulder since April 2021, first as the graduate program advisor and currently as the senior program manager of Online Programs.
She has worked in higher education, specifically online graduate admissions and student services, for over 10 years. She holds a Bachelor of Art in International Studies from Saginaw Valley State University and a Master of Education in Higher Education Administration from Northeastern University.
She is also currently completing a Master of Engineering in Engineering Management degree from the University of Colorado Boulder, which is her second online master’s degree, so she understands the complexities and importance of community and belonging as an online learner. She is passionate about increasing access to online education and has focused her career on inclusivity and accessibility.
Outside of higher education, she is also passionate about traveling and exploring new places -and has been to all seven continents!
