Michael Chen is the associate dean of student success and engagement for the Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences at Kennesaw State University, where he also serves as a tenured professor in psychology.
In his role, Chen oversees all student success efforts, including engagement events, recruitment open houses, student performance data analyses, and advising.
Alongside his administrative responsibilities, he is an active researcher whose work focuses on course design and student learning. Michael holds a doctorate in psychology from the University of Kentucky.
Born in Taiwan and raised in Belize, he spent most of his adult life in Kentucky before relocating to Georgia. Chen currently resides in the metro-Atlanta area with his wife and three children.
