fan headshotZhaohu (Jonathan) Fan is a faculty member in the Information Technology Management area at Georgia Tech’s Scheller College of Business. 

An innovative and dedicated educator, he is recognized for outstanding teaching evaluations and award-winning pedagogy. His work focuses on creating engaging, real-world learning experiences that prepare students to address complex business challenges with sustainable and data-driven solutions.

At Scheller, Jonathan leads the Business Analytics Practicum, a flagship experiential learning course offered every semester. The practicum connects students with industry partners, allowing them to work on real business problems while developing both technical expertise and business acumen. 

By bridging theory with practice, he equips students with the skills and mindset needed to thrive as analytics-driven decision-makers.
Jonathan’s commitment to teaching excellence and community-engaged research has earned him multiple honors, including the Provost Teaching and Learning Initiatives Grant (2025), the Community-Engaged Sustainability Research Faculty Fellowship (2025), and the Class of 1969 Teaching Fellowship (2024)
